Walcot Hall // Claire + Simon

Walcot Hall was the amazing venue for Claire and Simon's awesome wedding.

It was the perfect Spring day...there was even a light covering of snow on the Shropshire Hills as we made our way to Walcot Hall in the morning to begin the coverage of the bridal preparations.

Southbank London // Rachel + Adam

The Southbank London was the fabulous location for Rachel and Adam's pre-wedding shoot towards the end of spring last year.  London is where Rachel and Adam live, and it made for a fabulous urban backdrop for their shoot prior to their twin-location rural wedding in Ludlow, Shropshire and the village of Wistanstow where they had an epic DIY rustic outdoor ceremony.

Moat House, Acton Trussell // Hayley + Phil

Hayley + Phil's wedding at The Moat House, Acton Trussell, can be described in one word...EPIC! What a great day, with great people at a wonderful venue.

Here's a slideshow of some of my favourite photos from the day.  In all the years I've been photographing weddings I thought I'd seen it all...this was a first for me...a fire-eating bride! Yes, Hayley is a part-time fire artist and stilt walker!

If you would like me to be your Moat House Acton Trussell Wedding Photographer I would love to hear from you.

Blists Hill Ironbridge // Hazel + Patrick

Hazel and Patrick's Blists Hill Victorian Town wedding in Ironbridge, Shropshire, was the most amazing venue for a wedding.  Blists Hill is one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums, where you can experience life as it was over 100 years ago through the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of a recreated Victorian Town.

Snap Photography Festival

The definition of AWESOME = The Snap Photography Festival

Last month, before the wedding season kicked in, I spent the most amazing 3 days and 4 nights at Fforest, which was the home to the first ever Snap Photography Festival, with a load of other awesome photographers from around the world.

This was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had as a photographer...(in fact, I could leave out the last 3 words!)

I've come away from the experience with even more passion for the job that I love so much.  In fact to me, wedding photography isn't like a job because I love it so much...it enables me to meet awesome people like you, go to great parties, play with cameras, and make people smile.

Snap was more than just learning from, and with, a bunch of creatives.  It enabled us to find our 'tribe'...people that we connect with!  I, and everyone else that was/is part of Snap, have come away with many new friends.

Thank you to everyone that was a part of Snap 2015, and in particular the lovely Laura Babb of Babb Photo who is the person responsible for putting together such an amazing event.

If any of my photographer friends are thinking of going to Snap next year...my advice...DO IT!

As Laura said: "This is not a workshop and this is not a camping trip.  It's a chance to be a part of something bigger, that will stay with you long after it's over."

Take a look at this amazing video created by the very talented Will Halfacree of http://www.scree.tv/

See you all next year Snapsters x
